It will take a bit of your time to separate the bulbs as each bulb contains seeds. Cutting the flesh becomes easy if you boil them in salted water. You can boil the seeds or roast the seeds the way we do for chestnuts. If you are one of those who do not wish to cook jackfruit at home you can go for canned ones.

Storage instructions

To keep your jackfruit fresh, store it in the refrigerator or else it will turn brown or can get rotten. It lasts for 6 weeks if kept cool and dry.
