Peace lily is a member of the Araceae (Arum) family and grows in the tropical rainforests of Colombia and Venezuela. The name Spathiphyllum is derived from the Greek: ‘spath’ is a spoon, ‘phyl’ means leaves - a reference to the spoon-shaped leaf. The plant was introduced into Europe in 1870. Over 50 different cultivars are known, which virtually all have white bracts with the occasional slight green tinge.

How to Grow Plant / कैसे उगाएं
Good soil selection is essential for planting Peace Lily plant. To prepare the soil, you can use 60% garden soil, 20% old manure and 20% cockpit. Mix all the things well and fill it in the pot, make sure that there is a hole in the bottom of the pot to drain the water or not. In the beginning the pot should be well watered.

Medium and Indirect Sunlight is good for Peace Lily, if you want to feed good flowers in it, then keep it in Bright and Indirect Sunlight, if the leaves of Peace Lily look yellow, then understand that the amount of light is getting more. The water requirement of this plant is also less, once in a year 2 inches of soil can be removed from the top and mixed compost in equal quantity and put it again in pots.
