To make compost from leaves, keep in mind that there are leaves of different trees. Many types of tree plants are present in the garden, whose leaves often break and fall. In such a situation, collect those leaves in one place and leave them to dry. When these leaves are completely dry, they can be easily used for making manure. You can use a large bucket or a plastic bag to compost these leaves. This compost is not ready immediately, it takes time. Now fill the dry leaves in a bucket or plastic bag, now sprinkle water in it. Keep the amount of water so that the moisture remains in the leaves. You can also use sour buttermilk instead of water. Now close the bucket with the lid and leave it to decompose for 2 months. Keep in mind that you will need to keep checking in between to ensure that the leaves retain moisture. After 2 months leave the bucket open and then after 1 or 2 hours mash it with hands, so that it looks like a powder. Now you can use it as a fertilizer.

This process is still practiced in rural areas today. For this, you have to sprinkle cow dung on the dry leaves. Try to cover the leaves with cow dung, within 10 days it will start decomposting and within 40 to 50 days it will be ready as compost. Mix the decomposted compost into the soil before planting. After this plant a tree or any other plant, this will keep them healthy. Spray this manure once a month around the trees and plants.
