Use of Vinegar
If wild plants or grasses often grow in your garden or in pots, which hinder the growth of your plants, then use vinegar. Mix half a cup of vinegar in a liter of water and sprinkle on these wild plants, they will dry out in a few days. Be careful not to pour vinegar into the soil, as it can damage the roots of other plants.
Plant inspection while buying plants
Many times when we buy plants, we are not able to observe the insects properly at that time. Due to this insects enter the house from one plant and start harming other plants as well. Always keep an eye out for mottled or discolored leaves, undersides of leaves, and a black, sticky substance, in addition to yellowing leaves and fallen plants, before bringing them indoors. If an infected plant is brought indoors, the pests can quickly spread to other healthy houseplants.
