Spider plant is a plant of African origin in the family of lilies. Its scientific name is Chlorophytum comosum. It is also called ribbon plant, airplane plant, spider ivy. They got this name because of the hanging stems from this plant. When this plant develops well, its leaves start spreading out of the pot and along with some stems. In which more small new plants start growing. You can cut them from these stems and plant new plants.

- This plant works as a natural air purifier. This plant absorbs benzene formaldehyde, carbon monoxide and xylene.

How to Grow Plant / कैसे उगाएं
Small new plants start coming from the old spider plant plant. You can separate the new plant and plant more plants. For this, first of all, you take a small pot, and mix 60 percent soil, 20 percent manure and 25 percent cocopit in it. Now put the cuttings of spider plant in it. After cutting, place the pot where there is light but direct sunlight on the plant. You do not need to water the spider plant every day, if you find the soil dry, then water it. Your plant will start growing in two to three weeks.

Spider plants do not need a lot of sunlight. Outdoor plants should be kept in light to deep shade during the day, because too long direct sunlight can burn your plant. Give liquid fertilizer to the plant in summer. Do not fertilize during winter.

The spider plant turns brown or yellow in its leaves due to the high water content. Brown leaves on your spider plant can be a sign that you are overwatering. But also take care not to let the soil dry out for too long in the summer season, but do not let the roots get waterlogged.
