Krishna Kamal is a vine growing under some support. The name of 'Krishna Kamal' is also included in the most beautiful flowers of the world. It is called 'Passion Flower' in English. The texture of this flower is such that it is a rakhi tied on the hand. That is why it is also called Rakhi Bell or Jhumka Lata. The genus of this flower is 'Passiflora', under which there are more than 500 species. Krishna lotus is of many colors like purple, red, white. This flower on the creeper has great importance in Hindu religion.

The vine of the Passion flower is about 3 to 9 meters (10 to 30 ft) and the flowers are about 4 to 7.5 cm (1.5 to 3 in) long and the fruit is berry-like.

How to Grow Plant / कैसे उगाएं

You can apply 50% soil, 20% sand and 30% dung manure in this way, both seeds or cuttings of Passion flower take it. So sprouts in about two weeks, plant this vine in such a place where there is five to six hours of sunlight.

How to Take Care/ देखभाल कैसे करे

When new buds appear in the plant, they should be fertilized and watered regularly so that the vine gets nourishment, the plants should be given more water in summer and less in winter. Wherever you have planted it, you should keep moving the surrounding soil up and down so that the roots of the plant do not spread too much, sometimes pests are also found in this vine, so that spraying of neem oil should be done in between. so that there are no pests

Passion flower is not safe to use in pregnancy. The existing chemicals in it can shrink the uterus.

In one flower of Passion flower, important characters of Mahabharata which is an epic are contained. If you look carefully at the structure of this flower, the purple colored leaves in it are 100, which shows the number of Kauravas. After this, the five green colored buds on it are considered to be the symbol of Pandavas. And a green round bud on top of it symbolizes Draupadi, the queen of Pandavas, followed by three smaller buds, they are symbols of Brahma-Vishnu-Mahesh and those who are seated in the center are the form of Shri Krishna. Hence this flower is known as Krishna Kamal.
