Flamingo Flower is mainly a native plant of America continent where it is widely found from Mexico to Argentina and Caribbean countries. With time, it is now grown everywhere in the world, its other common names are Flamingo Flower, Tail Flower, Laceleaf etc. The red colored flower you see in this plant is not actually a flower. Flowers emerge only on the spadix and these flowers are very small, overall you will see it like a stick. Around this the leaf keeps its place in red or other color.

The flamingo flower is known by many names such as anthurium, tailflower and flamingo flower. There is a group of about 1,000 species of flamingo flower. Flamingo flower requires bright indirect light, if direct sunlight falls, then flowers and leaves wither, in winter season it should be given less water because at this time the plant does not grow much. It is also easily planted in this plant. Let us tell you that the name Anthurium is derived from a Greek word which means tailflower. The name Anthurium flower was formed from two Greek words, anthos and ora, which in English refer to the flowering tail.

How to Grow Plant / कैसे उगाएं

Prepare a mixture of 60% soil, 20% sand, 20 dung manure, then after planting this plant, give some water pulses so that it gets set in it. Keep this plant in bright indirect light, if direct sunlight is applied to the flowers and leaves, then it will wither, do not add much water, otherwise there is a risk of damage to the roots.

How to Take Care/ देखभाल कैसे करे

Soil sand should be mixed to avoid damage to the roots, when the plant becomes old, roots also start coming from the stems, if you want, you can cut these roots and separate them. When its flowers are dry, you can separate it by cutting it with scissors.
