Balam Cucumber : History and Health Benefits

Balam Cucumber or Balam kheera (Kigelia) is a fruit native to West Africa. Apart from Africa, this fruit is found all over India. It eliminates hundreds of diseases from the root. Its flowers are red in colour. All the things of this tree are used as medicine. Balam cucumber is used for kidney stones, skin diseases, dysentery, bleeding, diabetes, pneumonia, toothache, arthritis etc. Apart from this, many such diseases in which it is mainly used such as stomach pain, intestinal inflammation, premature ejaculation, anemia, graying of hair and back and joint pain etc.

Many more nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc, chromium and selenium are found in Balam cucumber. Nature has given a lot around us. But we would not know. Yes, you must have heard the name of cucumber which is in the form of creeper. But today we will talk about such a cucumber which has a tree and not a creeper and this particular cucumber is known as Balam Khera.

This tree is of tropical climate. It is found in almost all the states in Africa as well as India. The height of this tree is up to 20 meters, its fruits hang on long fibrous stalks. Its flower is big red color and yellowish red flower from outside. The raw fruits of this leaf cannot be used as food because it is like poison. The fruit of Balam cucumber is dried and used in small quantities.

Balam cucumber is poisonous, use it wisely! Before using, please consult a knowledgeable Veda or your doctor. It is said that it eliminates more than 100 diseases from the root. The whole part of this plant is used as medicine.

Its seeds are used in Africa to treat skin cancer. Apart from this, this fruit can eliminate physical weakness, impotence and many diseases from the root.

Balam cucumber can eliminate kidney stones

Due to poor diet and lifestyle, many people have become patients of kidney stones. Although there are many medical treatments available to remove kidney stones, but it can also be removed from the body through some home remedies. Balam cucumber has been used for centuries in addition to making a variety of medicines, as home remedies. The problem of stones can be eliminated through Balam cucumber. By taking half a glass of juice of Balam cucumber in the morning and evening, the problem of stones can be eliminated within 15 days.

How to use Balam Cucumber

For this, you have to boil Balam cucumber by taking water in an earthen pot and putting Balam cucumber in it. After that you have to keep it for a couple of hours. After it cools down, take two spoons on an empty stomach in the morning. By doing this, the stone will end from the root. This is a medicinal tree. Its fruit is specially used in the treatment of stones. Its leaves, bark, flowers and root are also used as medicine. It is planted there to enhance the beauty of the parks.

If a person is having stones, then this fruit is not less than a Rambaad for that person. It will remove your stone very easily. To take out the stone, you have to dry the Balam Cucumber thoroughly and then grind it well and make its powder and mix one teaspoon of black salt in this powder and take 5 grams with water every night at bedtime. Within a few days your stone will come out.

If a person or a child has got fever or pneumonia, then that person should grind the bark of Balam cucumber and give it empty stomach in the morning. It will take effect very quickly in fever and pneumonia. If the leaves of Balam cucumber are grinded and applied on the white marks, then this mark disappears.

In Africa, the fruit is used as a laxative and for dysentery and is also used for acne. Fruit powder for wounds and ulcers. The powder is also used as a disinfectant. Fruit powder or slices are used for breast firming. Used to reduce swelling of breasts. Let us know about some more uses –

  • Root/bark has been used for cancer or uterus.
  • Bitter bark is used for both syphilis and gonorrhea.
  • The bark is used for rheumatism and dysentery.
  • Use the fruit powder in the form of a paste for Tongue Ulcer.
  • The unripe fruit is used as a paste for rheumatism and syphilis.
  • The bark or roots powder is used to treat pneumonia, the leaves are used as a paste for backache.
